A composition moulding that is mounted on Baltic Pine with original fixing nails on the rear. It may have been from a large doorcase or fire- surround but was definately an architectural decoration.

This is an antique architectural detail that has been rescued from a Regency interior. and there are several layers of old paint (including buff, pea green, yellow and ivory) to testify to various treatments over time.
