Genuine antique set of English fireplace Tiles with "Staffordshire Knot "
mark on the reverse.
Comprising of ten tiles :
2 Rectangular Embossed and Hand coloured and painted Central Tiles, with Orchids
signed on the reverse, 5 7/8" x 12"
4 Square Embossed and Hand coloured and painted Tiles signed on the
reverse 6" x 6"
4 Embossed, dark reddish-brown coloured Spacer Tiles. 6"x3"

These tiles are very pretty and have been skilfully coloured and individually hand painted before they were glazed.
Sadly, one of the square tiles has lost a corner, but we could
repair this for a modest fee.
There is evidence of fixing plaster and soot on the reverse of the tiles.
