Console Table Top Revisited
Ribboned Campan is a spectacular but not well known marble, once quarried in the Pyrenees, but now no longer available. Used to great effect at the Chateau of Versailles in the Peristyle Columns of the Grand Trianon. I have long admired it and imitated it here in paint on a small console table top that was in need of updating.
